GJSMS Overdue Books & Fines Policy: 

Students have a three week checkout period with library books.

Students are expected to exercise responsibility when trusted with library items.  Books checked out on their account are their responsibility. 

Overdue items or lost items from a previous school library stay on a student's record.  This will not prevent them from checking out books from GJSMS but you must call the previous school your child attended to address overdue items with that school to have them removed.

Overdue, lost, or damaged items can result in loss of library check-out privileges. Students are expected to pay for the cost of a book that they lose or damage. 

Overdue notices are sent out quarterly.
