Extra-Curricular Student Activities  2023-2024

In order for a student to participate, a completed “After School Permission Form” signed by a parent/guardian must be submitted to the sponsor. Students, please remember to communicate with your parent/guardian the night before your activity as to what activity you will be attending, where it takes place, the dismissal time, and where you will be picked up. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation. Make friends and have fun!! A student must sign-in to the activity each time he/she attends. Students or parents are encouraged to contact the club sponsor for specific start dates. Please note, all dates and times are subject to change.

Drama Club

Drama Club is an after-school club for students to explore the art of acting and stage performance while improving their confidence, public speaking, and creative talents. Students will learn both on-stage and back-stage roles necessary to run a production and incorporate what they learn in practice scripts.

Environmental Club

Activities will include stream cleanups, gardening, invasive species identification and removal, crafting sustainable ornaments, educating campus on green strategies and facilitating recycling.

Student Council

Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by Ms. Culler.

The purpose of the Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.

Quiz Bowl

Is your head filled with a ton of facts and trivia? Then perhaps you’d enjoy joining the Quiz Bowl Team. Quiz Bowl is a Middle School trivia league that participates in competitions with other middle schools.

Honor Band is a club for 7th & 8th Grade students interested in taking their Band performance skills to the next level. The Honor Band will perform in the Spring Concert.

National Junior Society

NJHS honors those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but also challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

The NJHS is an inclusive program that is open to all students who meet the 5 established criteria of scholarship leadership, service, citizenship, and character. The advisor will notify eligible students. If accepted, NJHS students will be involved in activities which promote these characteristics.
